product
in the market that can be use to protect data in a Frame Relay network(eg.
VPN or encryption) as the cloud would be running multiple protocols as our
ISP planning to do. There are using the Northern Telekom switches.
Possiblity
or IPX, appletalk, Decnet, IP and etc.

Vendor alert! Network Systems' BorderGuard family provides VPN protections
for any data service offerring including frame relay. It is also one of the
only organization that can provide a secure VPN for not-IP protocols
including IPX. The secure VPN suite consists RSA/Diffie-Hellman
public-private keys/exchange/authentication, digital signatures via MD5,
replay prevention, strong encryption (DES, triple DES, IDEA), and it even
offers data compression prior to encryption. NSC has been shipping released
products since 1Q95. See www.network.com.
