You're better off with an ethernet switch.

Subject: Ethernet controller without promiscuous mode?

Hello,

Does any manufacturer produce ethernet controllers (for PC) that can't do
promiscuous mode? I want to _physically_ disable packet sniffing from the
bastion host. I can disable promiscuous mode in the driver source code, but
I'd rather have a _physical_ barrier. An extra router would do the job, but
the price is a bit high.
