I am cross-posting between firewall-list @
 greatcircle .
 com &
nt-security @
 iss .
 net .

I'm wondering if just a few folk would help me by reviewing and
commenting on a nearly finished, short 35 page white paper I've
hacked (no pun intended) together comparing sections of NT vs.
UNIX network security. If others have also created internal white
papers on NT Security maybe we could collaborate?

So far I have NT & UNIX; logon security, network file share security,
attack methods, and some references. I did not compare insecure
protocols like ftp, telnet, tftp, finger, etc. Plus I didn't get to
the multiple Inter-Process Communications methods other than SMB
over NETBIOS/TCP.

I can attach it as a MIME document, written in MS Word 7.0, 166KB.
I don't think the lists would appreciate it if I generally posted it.
However if I do get toooo many requests I just might. ;)
