If we are talking groupwise (aka groupwoes ;-) then you can configure
the message servers to connect via tcp/ip even on the NLM version, as
long as the novell machines have the tcp/ip stuff loaded.  Also, there
is no need to restrict yourself to a novell machine.  The groupwise
message server does run under unix and the smtp gateway seems fairly robust.
