1) FW1 on an NT appears to be fine. I have only installed it
on a lab system, but I did not see anything obviously
wrong with it. I do however have experience installating
on a over 30 Unix boxes.
2) Use any NT box with 166 MHZ with at least 48 MB of memory
64 MB recommended considering the number of users you
have.
3) Running anything other than FW1 on a box is generally a bad
idea. FW1 is very fast and efficient, but you want to
leave room for other things that could use up the latent
power. Highly recommend setting up the proxy elsewhere,
if possible. Proxy server location is fine.
4) Installaing the FW1 is easy, configuring it takes a little
experience. Depends on how much money you have to spend,
and what the ramifications would be if security holes were
left in.
