And from our folks back at the home office...
here's tonight's top ten list:

"The Top Ten Corporate Security Needs of MIS"

10. A firewall that can keep out ALL viruses.

9. A firewall that can automatically block all porno sites without
blocking anything else that might just look porno-like, or maybe sits
on the same server as some porno...um..but not safe sex information,
and uh...anyway..

8. A firewall that will keep users from opening holes with their
desktop modems.

7. A policy (see #4.)

6. A firewall that lets us use all that cool Internet stuff, but, you know,
doesn't, like, let in any things the user could screw up their machine
with...and oh, will keep the users from doing unproductive stuff
on the Internet.

5. An authentication scheme that doesn't require any effort
on the user's part.

4. Support from upper management on policy (trust me,
this one is funny..)

3. An answer for users who ask "Can't we make it so that people
on the Internet can see the web server I've set up on my
desktop PC?"

2. The "Best" firewall.

And our #1...

1. A big Stick!

Take it away Paul..
