First, I want to apollogise because my question doesn't regard firewalls. I
was subscribed to the list for quite a while and I hope that maybe I'll
find someone here to give me an idea.
I have Win NT 3.51 (Workstation) and a small network (Win95). It's something
like:
---------- ------- ------- ---------
-----| Internet |--| Cisco |--| WinNT |--| Network |
---------- ------- ------- ---------
I have a software which makes e-mail and WWW on NT (N-PLEX, from Isocor).
My problem is that I don't have DNS. Is there any way to make DNS with NT ?
I'd be very grateful if somebody will give me an idea ... Right now, DNS for
our domain is made by an outside host, which has an NS entry for a host in
our domain (which is, right now, the machine running NT).
I know DNS it's very easy to do with a Linux box, but I hope it
wan't be necesarily to buy a computer to put linux on it only for DNS ...
Again, please excuse me for not being on the subject of this list,
Best regards,
Cornel.
