nonclear text ftp client 4 mac/pc

I am looking for a non cleartext (preferable kerberos) ftp client for mac
and pcs that has a non cleartext login methode. There should be a unix
server of course. I have thought about other ways around this like
netatalk. But I want something  that is ip and I dont want to have to
tunnel atalk through ip. Any ideas would be aprecated. The stream does not
need to be encripted but it would be nice.
