I figured that someone would've answered this one by now, but I haven't seen a
message on the list....

Is anyone aware of ppp implementation that include packet filtering? Or of
(nit-based?) packet filtering implementations that could be applied to a
ppp interface under Solaris 1 (Solaris 1.2 to be exact)?

I once set up Morningstar PPP (on SunOs 4.1.3u1) to protect a small Unix box
from the Internet. It was a while ago, so I don't remember all the details,
but it provided what (at the time) seemed like a fairly good set of features,
for that type of software. It was pretty simple to configure....

I don't know if it's good enough for your needs, but it's a place to start....
