It's rather funny that they chose Borderware from Secure Computing,
without mentioning Sidewinder, which is more appropriately in the other
tested firewall's five-figure price range...
I like the "product showed no penetration" as we're supposed to take it on
faith that their penetrative efforts were comprehensive.
It just annoys me that the security side of the firewall is waved off in
lieu of next-generation application issues. You have to really think
about a product that is available on every OS in creation. What are they
really doing to harden the base that they stand on?
With all the debate on our challenge site aside, we do stand unpenetrated
and try to show that we have the most secure operating system and firewall
in the biz. We're pretty timid at marketing, but I really wish we would
hammer this in...
I'm not a salesperson, so I'll stop ranting...
