The following list is one that I recommend to my students who
have an interest in learning UNIX, I have read all of the books
and I find then very useful as reference for UNIX.
This by far is not a complete list, but these should get you started.
I am not that familiar with Linux, so I am not sure which book would
be best to get started on. You should be able to find these in a technical
library, as this can run into some money.
