I had the same issue at a clients site. Some one saw the cost of msproxy
and a true firewall and said why don't we use that. Luckly, an article
in Infoworld or Communication Week a few weeks ago reviewed msproxy server
and even stated something along the lines that ms does not recommend using
the product for a firewall. Yes I am paraphrasing here, find the article
and I think it will help you in your quest. I have tried to locate the
article but have not been successful. Magazines get read and tossed
here quickly.
