I am not sure, but since the pointcast program uses a specialized
"browser" that in some versions of pointcast identifies itself as 
"Pointcast 1.0" or the new client which identifies itself 
as "Mozilla/1.2 (compatible; PCN- The Pointcast Network)"
 
{yes, they changed with the lastest version of the client... I 
wonder why... ;-0 }

[but still some firewalls can filter based on the agent  STRING not 
just the user agent itself]

you can either block all other agents, and allow only the ones that
you know should be used (allowed), or only deny only the pointcast 
agent(s). [or any agent that may be destructive/bandwidth hog.
