Karen,

You might want to check out Citrix (www.citrix.com). They have a remote
control product that can run on a dual homed system where one side is
the Internet and the other is your internal net. Sounds like a
firewall, huh? You can authenticate using SecurID. While we are using
it in dialup mode, it should work the same way over the net.

Subject: remote control thru a firewall

\Has anyone been able to connect remote users through a firewall using a
remote control product(ie pcanywhere)?

Unfortunately, we have some apps that are not true client-server that
won't run unless using remote control. I would like to eliminate the
back
door security risk of having many people dialing into their office pcs
and have them come in over the internet.
And I would also like to incorporate the use of secure id or cryptocard.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Thanks!
