Subject: Value added to Gauntlet by V-One?

I am looking for some comparative insight as to the "value added" to
Gauntlet by the V-One Smartwall. With TIS distributing V-One's
Smartgate client, I am seeing less and less distinction between the two.

My concern comes from having a history of at least one product vendor
providing enhancements to another vendors product, and after a year or
two, they started falling behind in the core product version. Right now
TIS and V-One appear to have a happy relationship, but what will the
future hold?

I am involved with an organization that is on the verge of deploying a
large number of Smartwalls. If the core Gauntlet technology is the
firewall of choice for us, again I ask, what added value am I getting
from the Smartwall?

Of course, I would appreciate any comments, to include those of Marcus
(sarcasm and all). And by the way Marcus, are you still with V-One or
are you exclusively with your new venture NFR (if I might ask).
