The following performance testing was done by KeyLabs and summarizes the
throughtput differences between Solaris and NT. Take a look at:

To summarize:
Solaris NT
Max Data Throughput 89.75 Mbps 29.62 Mbps
Max No of Concurrent Conn 23,000 9000
Max Connections per Sec 1774 863
The test methodology and such are also described, but fundamentally the
traffic was 75% http and 25% ftp.
