The speed on the serial port might not be acceptable (only 38400).
Another option would be to put another Ethernet card in the firewall
and have a dedicated Ethernet from the firewall to the admin console.
You can also administer Gauntlet the old fashioned way by editing the
configuration files directly. You do have to be careful when you do this,
since the GUI interface rewrites parts of the configuration files.
