NFR takes a different tack from things like SW and RS. Rather
than just aiming for security, we decided to generalize a traffic
analysis and recording engine. A pretty technical overview of
NFR is on:
http://www.nfr.net/forum/publications/LISA-97.htm
the online manual for NFR is on
http://www.nfr.net/nfr/userguide/index.htm
Lastly, with respect to any rumors of my merger with NSA,
they are entirely false. :) If I ever start building key escrow
into products, *then* you'll know I sold out. Don't hold your
breath for that eventuality.
