Does anyone know of where I would be able to get an example of a
contract used by a consultant who works on a network. Specifically a
contract that a client can sign which informs them, and by them
signing it, that the consultant may do network scans that normally
would be considered as "hacking" which are required to correctly
configure network devices; or as part of a security evaluation of the
site. Something that may also cover an "NDA" style contract were any
"sensitive" information about the network will not be leaked. (ie: if
the consultant finds a flaw, that information will not be leaked even
if the consultant consults for other local buisnesses (who may be
competetors) BUT the information may be used as
"learning experiance"... etc... etc.. etc....
essentially the contract of an independant network/firewall
consultant so that those "in charge" cant say "but we didnt know he
was going to be doing THAT" (eg: scanning for open smtp servers from
the outside) etc... etc.. etc...
