The posts from the web forum are in plain text, and although the forum software's web display auto-wraps when people type away without hitting 'return', my html replies to such emails 'maintain' the original wrap of the web post as being one long line. This means that my html replies cause the web forum to expand hugely and cause the viewer to have to scroll dynamically across the screen. In case it's relevant, I use TB with my chosen html font settings as default for composition and replies. When I compose or reply in TB, 'body text' and 'verdana' appear in the top left boxes in the compose window. So, apart from forcing TB to write to the address in plain text, can I ask 2 questions: 1) Do you think the problem is completely because the mail/forum software hasn't been designed to force a wrap on the actual posts it mails out? I feel it should. 2) How can I work with this for now by maybe adjusting a setting in TB? I really have tried all manner of things with no success in easily 'breaking' the incoming non-wrap in my html replies. I admit I have been fumbling in the dark a little with my experiments with the TB settings in Options and also the Compose window. Maybe interestingly, I have explored replying from my Yahoo webmail account and that seems to compensate / autowrap the original emails from the same web forum, resulting in my html replies appearing as normal width on the web forum. thanks for any help to save my head from exploding, lee -- From Lee: Broadband connection and BT/Yahoo ID?
