Has anybody fixed the bug in sendmail 8.6.4 which causes it to
dump core in syslog(3) on long lists? On a Sun running SunOS
4.1.3, it will happen on a list of about 500 characters to one
host. It dumps core while delivering, with the result that the
message is delivered but also stays on the queue for resending
on the next queue run until you surgically remove it. :-(
This was fixed in IDA, so it's a little disappointing to see
such an egregious bug remaining in 8.6.4. Has anybody exercised
8.6.4 enough yet to gain confidence that it is ready for the
real world?
