I have to agree. I was personally
appalled at a couple of the decisions
in the product, but then again, that's
why we have competition.
The Lyris marketing *did* sound rather
hypish, but John has explained things
quite well, and I understand their
claims (I would suggest that if they
haven't already done so, they get some
of this rationale and explanation onto
their web pages - for those of us who
have grown jaded when everyone's email
product is better than everyone else's).
Finally, I was impressd with John's
responses under fire. John, you handled
yourself with commendable reserve. I'm
not a fan of the pricing strategy you
folks have chosen, but that's what free
markets are all about - you can try it
and see how it works.
