No, but it's missing the point. Most abuse on lists falls way short of
physical violence. REmoving a user from a list removes the list from
the easy reach of that user for abuse. If he continues to abuse members
via private mail, the next step is going to his admin to get help in
making him stop.

Death is a symbol for the issues we're dealing with here, not
necessarily a hard and fast reality. You're dealing with a detail as if
it's the essential issue, when in reality, it's off in left field and
hidden in a gopher hole.
