|   the To: line, how do you go about preventing people from looking
|   through their mail headers, picking out the "distribution"
|   address, and sending mail through your system to your list
|   subscribers directly?

You must use something a little more advanced than Sendmail aliases. I
use Majordomo's wrapper script, but run *-request manually. The
wrapper script screens the list for spam by looking for passwords or
authorised addresses.
