I think we might be confusing the blundering newcomer with the hated
hustler. I agree AOL breeds spammers, but I see very few problems from
AOl subscribers otherwise anymore, at least as compared to days gone by.
My own recent experience is that the mass of blundering brewing is from
schools. The rush to bring every school in the US online means we'll
see many more nattering neophytes of netdom. It's already begun, and,
bless their little hearts, they make AOL look like the Association of
Online Learned.
