Well, what if it is limited by IP how many searches can be done within a
set time period? There are ways to combat people who are looking to cause
harm via list indexes, I'll agree.
What if we required membership first to view the database, just like
four11.com, where the initial tid bits of data is free for everyone, and if
you want MORE tid bits of data, it's still free, but you have to take the
time to register, and THEN even AFTER you register, you still only get to
see 50-200 lists max per search.
