Just out of curiosity, what is it you did?
I came into this thread late, but has anyone pointed out
yet that it is *illegal* to threaten to sue someone? If
you have access to any letters written by lawyers claiming
damages (usually a prepatory step to filing a complaint)
they ABSOLUTELY NEVER say "pay up or we will file a
lawsuit." The reason is that it is against the rules
to do so.
What they say instead is "this is our damages -- we
will consider the matter settled if you pay it -- if
you do not we will consider our alternatives." Or
a variation of that.
