The first time it happened to me (early last summer), postmaster@aol.com was
very cooperative. The would-be subscriber unblocked the list and wrote again
to tell me so. She's been on the list ever since; she may even have posted
once or twice.
The last two times postmaster@aol.com has ignored me. All I get back is an
automated receipt but no action. Perhaps the requests come in so thick and
fast nowadays that one needs the fame or clout of a Chuq Von Rospach to get
action.
