Not all list admins feel this way. If a fight starts between list
subscribers, private or public, over a list topic or issue, then the
list is involved. I don't believe the admin can duck responsibility for
this. It just encourages the idiots to "go undergrounds", and it's
still the list's reputation that gets hurt ("don't go there, they'll
flame your ass...")
