What I have always told people (and perhaps I have been wrong to do so)
is that

	listname-request@foo.bar

will get you to someONE or someTHING that will honor administrative requests
and that 

	listname-owner@foo.bar

will get you to someONE.

I also support

	owner-listname@foo.bar

(which I don't happen to like because it doesn't seem to me to be consistent
with the -request convention, but which some people seem to go looking for).
