Has anyone read this article about MS -
http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/4/18002.html
It seems (IANAL) the are making a claim that given any data sent via a
MS service, they have the right to do, well, more or less whatever the
heck they want to with it.
Terms of service: http://www.passport.com/Consumer/TermsOfUse.asp
Most of the outrage I've seen about this was in the context of the
free software folks who are concerned that accepting contributions
from a hotmail.com address would taint the copyright status of the
code.
Still, what would this mean for a list owner who has hotmail.com
subscribers?
