I use multipart/digest. I'd send you an example but all my digest lists
are collections from discussion groups. As a result the digest is not
archived since the discussion group is archived.

What specifically were you looking for in examples of the format? My
digests put a list of subject lines in the first part, which also
includes a trailer with subscription and archive information.

Other than that each part is a message corresponding to a subject line.
I choose to exclude the received headers from messages put in the digest
but otherwise include all headers. There's is no real guidance in this
area. I thought about explicitly including a relevant set but the truth
is there are a lot of "interesting" headers and it would just be one
more thing about the configuration to have to manage. Besides, user
agents do a good job of showing a user what they want to see so I
figured I would do as little as possible to disturb that.

Was there something else you were looking for?

Jim

    Folks;

I'm wondering if I might hear from any of you using the MIME type
multipart/digest for the digested versions of the list, and specifically
pointers to see examples of digests using this NOT based on SmartList.

And if you're intentionally _not_ using multipart/digest, I'd appreciate
    hearing why.

       Thanks!
