I sent him a form letter explaining the difference between List-Managers
and Majordomo-Users, and suggesting the use of the latter, which I do
whenever I notice a Majordomo-specific question on List-Managers.   It's
usually effective. 

Others, of course, are free to echo the sentiment, but it's probably
better to do so by private mail to avoid the "one [inappropriate]
message - many replies" problem.
