The eliminatecc setting controls courtesy copy elimination. If this
setting is enabled, and your address appears in the To: or Cc: headers
of a posted message, Majordomo will not send an additional copy to you.
This helps to cut down on many of those annoying duplicates that are
often received, but it deprives you of the additional processing that
Majordomo does on a message (subject prefixes, additional headers,
etc.).
eliminatecc - turns CC elimination on
noeliminatecc - turns it off

It's a per-user feature you've chosen not to exercise.0

For me it's not a problem, which is why I'd be upset if it were "solved"
in a global fashion. I prefer to get those multiple copies. The posts
for discussions I'm not involved in get filtered into the list folder
where I'll look 2-3x a day; the ones I am following minute-to-minute
will have a copy in my inbox which I can read, reply to if I choose, and
toss. I seriously and strongly prefer it this way.
But if you don't, change it for yourself.
