If a LISTSERV list is configured to support the DIGEST option,
it also supports the INDEX option.

If the list is hosted on a server running LISTSERV 1.8d or 1.8e,
a subscriber may choose to receive either a traditional DIGEST
or INDEX, or an HTML DIGEST or HTML INDEX. In an HTML DIGEST,
the table of contents at the beginning of the digest consists
of links to the individual messages. In an HTML INDEX, each
index entry is a link to the message.
