No -- their official policy is that if a list is open for
subscription (anyone can sign up, without having to be approved
by the list-owner), then they feel that it is a public list and
they can include it at gmane.org without asking.  In other words,
they confuse subscription mode with availability of archives,
subscriber list etc.
