Please reread the quoted text above. Alvin suggested that "good list
manager sw" would be able to do something, and Jim asked for someone to
describe how it would work. You quoted both Alvin and Jim, thus your
post is presumed to be responding to these exact points, and is expected
to describe how "good list manager sw" can do what Alvin suggests and
Jim asks for clarification on.
If this is *not* what you were talking about, why did you quote and
reply to those cites, and how the heck did you expect the rest of us to
know you were now talking about something else???
