(have also emailed demime list but mail hasn't come through as yet)
Can anyone advise me on how to use Demime in association with a
particular pipe?
My trouble is how to set up so that Demime will act on all emails
destined for a Mail2Forum import script called:
m2f_import_msgs.sh (the .sh file just calls a .php file, as far as I
can tell)
Some examples which may help you :-
Here is an example of how I am already piping elsewhere using demime on
my Exim and Sendmail hosting:
abc@xyz.com: "|/home/incel/www/demime.pl
'|/home/incel/www/mailgust/dbcron.pl 18'"
Here is an example of a successful pipe to my Mail2Forum import script
without using demime :-
abc@xyz.com: |php -q /home/incel/www/interactive/m2f/m2f_import_msgs.sh
And below are 2 unsuccessful attempts at using demime in a pipe with the
M2F import script; below each one is part of the mail delivery error
which is sent out. I haven't yet looked at the demime program's code
itself, as I don't know enough on these issues.
abc@xyz.com: |/home/incel/www/demime.pl
|/home/incel/www/interactive/m2f/m2f_import_msgs.sh
Can't fork |/home/incel/www/interactive/m2f/m2f_import_msgs.sh off of
