hello everyone,

I find demime very useful partly for its demime_junkmail.cf setup, which I use to try to remove old mail list footers as well as webmail advertising.
However, does anyone know of a free program whose main/sole purpose is doing this kind of text removal? I haven't managed to find one as yet.

I ask because I have never managed to fully understand the regular expressions needed by demime's text matching/removal, and I wonder if a program specialising in this might be easier to set up. Currently, I know that my junkmail_cf file is pretty inefficient in my rather random attempts to code it, even though I have tried to read up on regular expression techniques.

Alternatively, if nobody knows of such a program, I would be very grateful if anyone confident with the above skills would be willing to look at and streamline/improve my current demime_junkmail.cf file.

Many thanks,
Lee
