Or are you in need of people to work on the docs? It's super quiet on this docs list. I've been on this list for long, long time. No noise. I'm off the mj-workers and other greatcircle lists -- so this is good news. I'll be able to edit, put in some text, etc. I've not played/worked/tested at all with 2.0 yet. Sorry. Keep us posted, please. Let's get moving if the time is right. Otherwise, just seeing the -workers posting, it might be best to have the -docs folks jump over to -workers now. I'll sub there too. -------------- Mark Rauterkus, Publisher mrauterkus@sportsurf.net http://SportSurf.Net/ Swimming upwards for FREE & OPEN options in tools and info. -------------- From majordomo-docs-owner Mon Nov 16 10:11:47 1998 Received: (majordom@localhost) by honor.greatcircle.com (8.8.5/Honor-Lists-980720-1) id KAA09918; Mon, 16 Nov 1998 10:06:11 -0800 (PST) Received: from kootcom.kootenay.net (kootcom.kootenay.net [209.52.230.1]) by honor.greatcircle.com (8.8.5/Honor-980202-1) with ESMTP id KAA09911; Mon, 16 Nov 1998 10:05:56 -0800 (PST) Received: (from uucp@localhost) by kootcom.kootenay.net (8.7.5/8.7.3) id SAA11794; Mon, 16 Nov 1998 18:22:53 GMT Received: from ArmispianSystems.Rossland.bc.ca by kootcom.kootenay.net; Mon, 16 Nov 98 10:22 PST Received: from localhost (jrasku@localhost) by ArmispianSystems.Rossland.bc.ca (8.8.5/8.8.5) with SMTP id KAA08021; Mon, 16 Nov 1998 10:12:13 -0800 Date: Mon, 16 Nov 1998 10:12:11 -0800 (PST) From: Jason Rasku To: Brock Rozen Cc: Majordomo Workers List , majordomo-docs@greatcircle.com Subject: Re: MJ2 docs... I have not seen any such discussion, now I may have missed it. I think that a list which is setup for discussing the documentation should actually be used for that. Now it may be very helpfull to also have some of that discussion going back and forth between the ``doc group'' and the ``devel group''. But neither group should have to go through the other's messages in order to get their work done. They DO need to comunicate though... It is in the archives (well worth taking a look at though there is a heck of a lot of spam in there). > Otherwise, just seeing the -workers posting, it might be best to have the > -docs folks jump over to -workers now. I'll sub there too. I think that this list should be used for discussing documentation, we should probably be bouncing ideas back and forth between the two lists, but only when a development happens. So when the workers get something new they would like to see documented, they send it to the docs list, we bounce it around in here for a while, then take it back to the workers who tell us if the documentation is actually correct, and complete. At which time it is either revised, or becomes an official portion of the doc tree.... Jason Rasku -- Jason Rasku, Box 270, Rossland, B.C., V0G 1Y0, (250) 362-5701, LinuxBox: (250) 362-9668.
