I have majordomo installed (happily) on an Apollo workstation running
sendmail, but have been unable to get it working on my PC at home
which runs 'Linux' and uses smail3.1.28 rather than sendmail.
When I test it with elm in verbose mode, I see that smail seems to be
exiting with a funky status. No automatic subscriptions or
un-subscriptions get processed at all from what I can tell.
Mail to the mailing lists themselves work fine, so smail is correctly
including the datafile containing the list of folks on the list.
Anybody have majordomo running on a smail3.1.28 system ?
