Hmm... think I forgot to reply to the list. Anyway, I asked about all the
instances of $HOME/Log being a directory, not a file. Is this something
that I got lucky with? Which should it be?

On my system, I have this file owned by daemon, and it works fine. Give
that a try and let me know what happens.
