# Brent writes in the README file for his digest scripts:
#
# This does not automatically increment issue numbers or send the
# message; it just creates a properly formatted digest and spits it to
# stdout. Both of these can be done in a simple wrapper tailored to
# how things are set up at your end.
#
# My question is: has anyone written anything which *does* automatic
# incrementing of a digest's volume and number?
#
# I don't perl (nor nit), but I do a heckuvalotta implementing... any
# help out there?

Huh... That paragraph is incorrect; it's been there all along and
nobody every noticed it... The "digest" stuff was originally written
by J Greely, and I took it and hacked on it, but apparently didn't
update the original README file. Sorry about that!

In short, ignore the README: the version you have does what you want.
