Check the permissions and ownerships on /export/home/majordomo/lists.
It should be owned by majordomo and group daemon (or whatever your sendmail
runs as). It should also have rwx for both owner and group. Something
like this:
drwxrwxr-x 3 majordom daemon 2048 Feb 24 06:59 lists
