What happens when you run:
/path/to/wrapper majordomo
from the shell? If this works (i.e. seems to run and waits for input),
look at how you are constructing the sendmail alias. I have seen cases
where line splits etc. cause the wrapper to be executed without any
arguments. Also make sure that sendmail has access to the wrapper
program. One mode 700 directory can cause a load of problems.
If you want to test majordomo you can do a:
/path/to/wrapper majordomo < mailfile
from the command line, where mailfile is a properly formated RFC822
message.
