I got the following reply from Jim Reisert:

I should have mentioned that I recently upgraded to 1.90, and it may be
that the correct entries in my lists [user@address (Firstname Lastname)]
go back to 1.62, since I just tried a couple of subscription attempts
and all I get is [user@address]. Annoying! Anybody got a fix?

I just verified that this happened about the same time I upgraded
because I rotated the log files, and even though there are subscription
entries in the new (1.90) log file, none show up in the list with the
names attached.
