Subject: files too large for "get"

I've used majordomo to provide files in postscript format for subscribers
to the mailing list. The problem is that some are located behind relays
or gateways that limit the size of mail messages. One relay limits
them to 1.2M bytes. Some mail is done via uucp and the limit there is
100K bytes.

Has anyone else run into this situation? Any solutions - split the files or
compress the files? How would the recipients do joins or uncompress the
files? My postscript files range anywhere from 10K bytes to 1.3M bytes.
