Ah yes, the dreaded mailer error 139. One of my customers followed up
on this in relation to some software I was building for him and
reported that this is the result of a memeory leak/corrpution problem
in perl 4.036 (at least) It appears to be showing up on a number of
Unicies. Sadly I can't reproduce it with perl 4.036 or 4.019 under
Ultrix or Sunos (sparc sun4, sun3, or 386i). All Ic an suggest is
building a debugging version of perl, and see what is failing.
Alternativley try perl 5. I claim that majordomo should work with perl
5 although it hasn't been tried yet to my knowledge.
