Subject: question about format of email addresses in the list file

I have just recently gotten majordomo 1.92 up and it is running just
fine (including the digest and archive features) but I am having some
problems with the format of the person's addresses are ending up in
my membership file if i disable the strip option.

for example if i subscribe myself to the list with strip enabled (via
the list.config file) i get an entry in the list membership file like
this:
	keithw

this is my local account name and all is fine.

if however, i disable strip i get the following entry in
the list membership file:
	Keith Willard <keithw>

Now when i post a message to the list the mailer tries to mail to
Keith Willard instead of keithw and i get a bounce. This same
behavior occurs with people subscribing remotely when i have strip
disabled. It appears to be grabbing the comment rather than the
address.

Any clues on what i need to fix this? I have pored over the docs but
perhaps i haven't pored enough. comments make 'who' much more
satisfying to the members of the list and i am loathe to run in the
strip mode.
