Actually, it probably does.  Haven't you seen the Internet Whitepages
for sale in many bookstores now?  It was created by watching who posts
to USENET groups.  If you've posted to a USENET group in the last year
or two, you are probably in it.

Anything that is public knowlege can be made available to the public in
any form.  It's known as the freedom of infromation.

On the other hand.  Anyone creating a list should respect the wishes of
people who don't wish to be listed and not put them in the list which
get's released to the public.  That's just plain courtesy.
